Recipes shared on Facebook.

Facebook.com is a great way to stay in touch with friends and family, but it's also serving as a platform for sharing favorite recipes. Some of the dishes are delish, and others don't live up to the endorsements.

This Bacon Wrapped Smokies recipe from the Magic of the Seasons Facebook page promises to be a hit for New Year's Eve parties or sports gatherings.

Bacon Wrapped Smokies with Brown Sugar

1 pound Bacon, cut into thirds
1 pound Smokie links (like Hormel)
1 stick Butter
2 cups Brown Sugar

Preheat oven to 375 degrees.

Directions: Cut bacon into thirds and wrap each Smokie. Place all the wrapped smokies in a single layer in a baking dish.

Melt the stick of butter. Add 1 cup of the brown sugar to butter and stir until mixed well. Pour the butter and brown sugar mixture on the Smokies and bacon.

Then take the other cup of brown sugar and sprinkle evenly over the smokies. Bake for about 15-20 minutes, and then increase oven temperature to 400 degrees for about 5 minutes or longer until the bacon becomes crispy.
