Radiant Heart Yoga's prenatal yoga classes are designed especially for the mother-to-be and the pregnant body. Prenatal classes are infused with poses, breathing techniques, meditations, and affirmations to prepare, relax, and comfort the mom-to-be during her pregnancy and in preparation for childbirth and motherhood. Radiant Heart Yoga's prenatal classes include an emphasis on connecting with other expectant moms and prenatal education.
Radiant Heart Yoga is certified and teaches Mamaste Prenatal and Postnatal Yoga classes. You can be sure that you will receive safe postures and adjustments suited to your body and your pregnancy.
Classes are open to healthy pregnant women in the 2nd and 3rd trimester. If you are not currently practicing yoga regularly, please refrain from starting classes until your 2nd trimester (12 weeks). If you have a history of miscarriage or have been through fertility treatments, it is recommended that you wait until 16 weeks to start a yoga practice.
No prior yoga experience is necessary for prenatal yoga; classes are open to all levels and abilities.
