A water main break could cause more traffic delays than usual this evening on Route 31.
The water main break occurred in the 400 block of South Main Street in Algonquin and village of Algonquin water and sewer utility crews were on scene as of 4:30 p.m. working to make repairs, according to a village of Algonquin press release.
Main Street has been reduced to one lane at Railroad Street as the repairs are being made, according to the news release.
