Which Roads are the Worst in the County?

The Northwest Herald reports on readers' picks for the most pothole-ridden and bumpiest roads.

The Northwest Herald asked readers to share their thoughts on McHenry County's worst roads for potholes and cracks. 

The following roads made the list: Pingree Road from Route 14 to Rakow Road in Crystal Lake; Bull Valley Road from Country Club to Walkup Road; Oak Grove Road from Route 14 to Chemung in Harvard; Country Club Road from Bull Valley Road to Route 47; and Mason Hill Road, west of Cherry Valley Road.
