Police Arrest Known Gang Member, Seize Drugs, Cash
A McHenry County man was arrested after month-long investigation.
A Woodstock resident and known gang member was arrested today and charged with a number of offenses, including drugs and firearm possession.
Paul Koroluk, 32, of 2103 Sweetwater Drive, Woodstock was arrested after a month-long narcotics investigation.
The McHenry County Sheriff’s Office Narcotic and Gang Unit, Sheriff’s Office SWAT Team, the Drug Enforcement Administration and the Woodstock Police Department executed a search warrant at Koroluk's residence and recovered approximately 30 grams of cocaine, multiple pharmaceutical controlled substances, a semi-automatic hand gun, four boxes of ammunition, three bullet-proof vests and over $16,000, according to the McHenry County Sheriff's Office.

Sheriff’s investigators also located narcotic packaging materials and a digital scale.
According to the Sheriff's Office, Koroluk is a documented gang member and a convicted felon.

Sheriff Keith Nygren estimates the value of the drugs seized to be in excess of $3,000.
Koroluk was charged with unlawful possession of a controlled substance, unlawful possession of a controlled substance with the intent to deliver, being an armed habitual offender, unlawful possession of a firearm by a felon, unlawful possession of ammunition by a felon, unlawful possession of a controlled substance (Class 4 Felony).
Bond will be set June 11.
The charge of being an armed habitual offender carries a sentencing range of six to 30 years, with no possibility of probation.
