Patch Flash: FBI Vigilante Hacker Investigation Goes To Crystal Lake

on July 19, one of more than 35 searched nationwide as part of a federal investigation into the vigilante Anonymous group, which has claimed responsibility for hacking various Internet websites to promote its political agenda.  Government and corporate sites have been victimized by the group, including AT&T, PayPal, Visa and MasterCard. 

 

It cost the village of Winnetka $25,000 to clean up on oil spill on its Lake Michigan beach. The spill was caused by gasoline that was poured into the village’s storm sewer.

A that the animal's eye had to be removed has been charged with aggravated cruelty to an animal and criminal injury to a domestic animal. Tomas Rascati, 21, 14920 S. Arnold St., was arrested by Plainfield police.

A 39-year-old Romeoville woman was arrested at a Lemont motel around noon Wednesday after police discovered an Sheila A. Gibson, of the 300 block of Emery Avenue, was charged with prostitution—a Class A misdemeanor.
