Night Closures on Rakow Road Continue

The Northwest Herald reports rain has delayed the Rakow Road construction project.

Overnight closures are expected to continue this week on Rakow Road, according to the Northwest Herald.

Due to wet weather in recent weeks, crews have only closed the road for nine nights over the four weeks. The original purpose of the night closures was to help crews catch up on work along Rakow Road delayed because of rain this past spring, according to the NW Herald.

The night closures are from Viriginia Road to Route 31 along Rakow Road on week days between 8 p.m. and 6 a.m., according to the NW Herald. The Rakow Road construction website provides updates on progress of the Rakow Road consturction project.
