National Weather Service: Flash Flood Advisory for Fox River

Heavy rainfall may cause some flooding, according to advisory.

The National Weather Service has issued a flood advisory for low lying areas along the Fox River, including Algonquin.

Heavy rainfall, between 1 and 3 inches, is possible in northern Illinois over the next 24 hours, according to the National Weather Service (NWS).
