More Rain in Forecast for This Week

Tuesday is expected to be warmer with a high of 84 degrees in the forecast for Lake in the Hills

More rain and storms could make an appearance tonight, Tuesday and at periods of time through the end of the week.

A hazardous weather outlook is in effect for McHenry County tonight. Thunderstorms with damaging wind gusts over 60 mph, nickle-sized hail, cloud-to-ground lightning and brief torrential downpours could effect much of northern Illinois and Northwest Indiana, according to the National Weather Service.

Severe thunderstorms are also possible Tuesday afternoon. A high of 84 degrees is predicted for Tuesday.

There is also 50 percent chance of showers on Wednesday, Wednesday night and into Thursday with a chance of showers is predicted for Friday. Temperatures for are predicted to be in the uppers 70s for Wednesday, uppers 60s for Thursday and lower 70s for Friday.

The upcoming weekend is expected to be clear and sunny with temperatures in the 70s.
