Metra Trains Delayed on NW Line Wednesday

Incoming and outgoing trains to and from Chicago have been affected by the delays.

Delays were being reported Wednesday morning for Metra's northwest line.

At least two trains on the northwest line were expected to arrive between 16 and 40 minutes late to Chicago this morning due to manpower issues, according to the Chicago Tribune.

A train expected to leave the city at 7:30 a.m. and arrive in Harvard at 9:20 a.m. was running 30 to 40 minutes behind schedule, according to the Metra website. The delayed departure was caused by a "late arrival of equipment caused by earlier delays."
