LITH Airport Offers Free Plane Rides at Open House

The airport's open house will be held from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. this Saturday.

The will be hosting an open house this Saturday from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. on the airport grounds at 8407 Pyott Road.

During the open house, members of the Experimental Aircraft Association Chapter 790 will be offering free airplane rides to children ages 8 to 17 years old, according to a village of Lake in the Hills press release.

Static displays of the different airplanes based at the airport will also be available to view and snacks will be served.

Public Works Director Fred Mullard will also be on hand to answer any questions about the airport's current and future improvement plans, according to the news release. Representatives from airport businesses will also be on hand to answer any questions.
