Crystal Lake South Gymnast Headed to Nationals

An area gymnast who trains at a Lake in the Hills facility will be heading to the National Invitational Gymnastics Tournament in Long Beach, Calif., in May.

The Northwest Herald reports Megan Greenfield, a sophomore at Crystal Lake South, qualified for nationals after placing 11th at the regional championships on April 16 in Cleveland.

Greenfield competes for the Trinity GEMS, which train at the Trinity Academy of Gymnastics in LITH, according to the Northwest Herald. Read more on the Northwest Herald.
