Central United Methodist Church in Skokie is having their Craft Fair tomorrow, Sat 12/8 from 11am-3pm. Santa will be there too. I'm so surprised that Patch hasnt picked up on this and reported as a place to go tomorrow. There will be lots of goodies for sale, including baked items, jewelry, crafts, etc. Canine Companions for Independence will also be there.

Mary, thanks for sharing that news. We'd love to help you spread the word about the craft fair. The easiest way to do so is to post the information as an event on our calendar. Here's how: if you haven't already, sign up as a user by clicking "log in" at the top right. Then go to skokie.patch.com/events/new and enter the information. Good luck with the craft fair!

Ummm, Jennifer,we need your assistance in the Left Bank hot dog article. Seems the natives in Lake Forest are getting restless that Patch is not reporting on THEIR favorite restaurant. I worked out a good deal though. Check it out.
Jennifer Fisher (Editor) December 7, 2012 at 11:40 pm
Haha, I did see that. I'm not wading into that debate :) But thanks for trying to broker a deal!
Stevie Janowski December 7, 2012 at 11:53 pm
Moe, thought you would get her to do the story!!!!

Sorry Stevie, Im trying my best. Are you following me around the patch? I have to "patch" this whole thing up before Bree tells all his friends not to even try Left Bank. This is a mess. Fudge.

Why are we talking about cookies and candies for the holidays. How the hell are people supposed to argue about that? Ok, here I go. Jennifer fisher's pumpkin chocolate chip bread sounds Soooo much better than Claudia Lenart's nut cups. I mean, come on, nut cups! How could she be so insensitive to all the people who can't eat nuts much less be around them. Unbelievable! I'm just kidding ladies, they all sound great. Believe it or not, Moe loves to bake and cook. Moe also loves to write in third person. Happy holidays too all.

Moe, you're a riot. I'm just glad I didn't have a recipe to submit for you to make fun of-hahaha! Have a great weekend!
Moe @ the Buck December 14, 2012 at 05:24 pm
Thanks Melanie. I will be having fun at the $ilver Dollar Tavern. One of Highland Parks Finest and best looking fireman, Roger Underwood, will be performing. Roger and the Wraybands Saturday night at 9:00 pm. Hope to see you there.

Bad location and waaaayyy expensive for soup and salad. Especially after the menu change earlierRead More this year. And I was a loyal customer before that. Too bad. Wonder if they will open in another location?

I am very disappointed. I bought a groupon recently and I redeemed it at the store, but they gaveRead More me a gift card for the remaining balance. What do I do with this gift card now?
