Blotter: Teens Arrested for Drug Possession

Lake in the Hills Police Department reports from Sunday and Monday.

Possession of Drug Paraphernalia

Two Lake in the Hills teens were arrested in the 200 block of Apache Trail around 4:41 p.m. Sunday for possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of marijuana. They were later both released to their parents.

Domestic Battery

A 23-year-old Lake in the Hills man was arrested in the 900 block of Cynthia Lane around 6:35 p.m. Sunday on a charge of domestic battery. He was taken to the McHenry County Jail.

Lake in the Hills police were called to the 10 block of West Oak Street around 12:06 p.m. Sunday for a report of graffiti on the side of the residence. The report was turned over to the Lake in the Hills Police Department's investigations team.

Driving Complaint

Police were called about a driving complaint reported in the area of Heartland Gate and Northlight Pass around 4:23 p.m. Monday when a vehicle allegedly violated stop-arm law of a school bus. The report is under investigation.

Criminal Damage to Vehicle

A complainant's window was reportedly shot with an air soft gun at Castle Bank, 2100 W. Algonquin Road, around 6:23 p.m. Monday. The report was turned over to investigations. In another criminal damage to vehicle complaint Monday evening, a complainant's tire was reportedly slashed at an unknown time in the 1200 block of Birch Street. That report was also turned over to investigations.
