Blotter: Cary Man Faces Drug Charges; Injury Accident

Driving While License Suspended

A 45-year-old Crystal Lake woman was pulled over in the first block of East Oak Street around 3:01 p.m. Monday. She was cited for driving with a suspended license, failure to notify the secretary of state of address and name change and operating an uninsured motor vehicle. She was arrested and later released on bond.

Possession of Marijuana

A 19-year-old Crystal Lake man was pulled over in the area of Industrial Drive and Pryott Road around 4:59 p.m. Monday by the Lake in the Hills Police Department. He was arrested for possession of marijuana and also cited for driving without a valid license, improper lane usage and operating an uninsured vehicle.

Drunken Driving, Drug Charges

A 25-year-old Cary man was pulled over in the area of Hanson and Algonquin roads around 10:28 p.m. Monday. He was arrested for drunken driving, possession of marijuana under 2.5 grams and possession of drug paraphernalia. He was also cited for failure to signal and disregard to a traffic signal. He was later released on bond. A 16-year-old Cary girl and 15-year-old Cary girl were also arrested for illegal consumption of alcohol by a minor. The girls were later released to their parents.

Injury Accident

A 30-year-old woman was taken to Sherman Hospital following a two-vehicle accident on Pyott Road and Algonquin Road around 5:51 p.m. Monday. No further information was immediately available on the crash.

Domestic Battery

A 36-year-old Lake in the Hills man was arrested on Stanton Court for two counts of domestic battery around 9:41 p.m. Tuesday. He was taken to McHenry County Jail.

Criminal Damage to Vehicle

Lake in the Hills police are investigating a report of a scratch along the driver's side of a vehicle in the first block of Clark Avenue. A report about the criminal damage was made around 11:27 a.m. Tuesday.
