Barley House Closes Its Doors
The restaurant announced on its Facebook page it has closed its doors for good.
Another Algonquin restaurant has closed its doors.
Barley House, 1520 S. Randall Road, announced on its Facebook page yesterday that it is closed for business.
“It is true. The Barley House has closed. It has been a pleasure serving all of you. There will be a huge garage sale of barware, dishes and decorations this Friday from 9-3 and Saturday from 9-1 at 2214 Barrett Drive in Algonquin. Beer will not be served, but plenty of glassware to purchase. You can take it home, put your own beer in and pretend you are at the Barley House. Thanks again. We will miss all you.”

Patch was unable to reach Barley House management for a comment about why the restaurant closed. Its website also says Barley House is open no more.
