April Snow Showers Bring May Flowers

Residents woke up to a snowfall accumulation of 1-2 inches.

Commuters were greeted this morning with a familar sight—last night's light snowfall accumulation of 1-2 inches. And it looks like the precipitation is going nowhere, with the early part of the week remaining quite wet.

Forecasters are predicting a 60 percent chance of thunderstorms later tonight, with a low near 34 degrees. East-Northeast wind between 10 and 15 mph. New rainfall is expected to measure to 1/10 to ¼ inch.

Thunderstorms may continue on Tuesday, with some storms possibly becoming severe later. There is the possibility for large hail Tuesday. Highs near 40 degrees, with an East-Northeast wind between 15 and 20 mph. Gusts as high as 30 mph.

There is an 80 percent chance of rain Tuesday night, showers and possibly a thunderstorm before 1am. Low around 37. Breezy, with a northeast wind between 10 and 20 mph, with gusts as high as 25 mph.
