Algonquin Resident Featured on Local TV News

Social media marketing coach April M. Williams will be on CBS Chicago to talk about a location-based app similar to Foursquare.

Algonquin will have some representation on the local news tonight.

Last week Williams was interviewed by Dorothy Tucker to talk about WeReward, a location-based service where you can check-in to stores, restaurants and businesses.

WeReward is similar to Foursquare, except instead of becoming the mayor, you earn point to convert to money. One point is equivalent to one cent.

Williams, who said she has been using the app for five months, said she makes between $30-$50 a month for simply checking in to the places she visits.
