Algonquin Man Found Guilty of Sexual Abuse of Young Girl

Mohammad Salem will be sentenced in January.

A jury found a 62-year-old Algonquin man guilty Wednesday of aggravated sexual abuse for fondling a 5-year-old girl on various occasions in 2010, according to the Northwest Herald.

The abuse occured at his wife's in-home day care, according to the article. Mohammad Salem will be sentenced on Jan. 3 and faces up to seven years in prison and also is eligible for probation, according to the NW Herald.
