Advocate Good Shepherd Hospital Hosts Free Health Fair
The early detection and prevention annual community health fair will have health screenings, raffles and giveaways.
Advocate Good Shepherd Hospital is offering a free comprehensive wellness event on Saturday, September 17, 8 a.m. to noon, at the Advocate Good Shepherd Outpatient Center in Crystal Lake.
The morning will be filled with health screenings, raffles, giveaways and much more including:
- Blood pressure screening
- Body mass index
- Cardiac screenings
- Complete lipid panel (cholesterol & diabetes, 12 hour fast required, finger stick)
- Diabetes screenings and education
- Flu shots $25 (free to Medicare patients)
- Foot screenings
- Heart age assessment
- Prostate cancer screenings for men 45 and older only (includes a digital rectal exam and blood draw)
