826 Algonquin Customers Still Without Power

The village's Wednesday morning numbers indicate the power for 80 percent of Algonquin ComEd customers has been restored.

“This morning’s numbers indicate 826 accounts are still out, with 3,125 restored,” said Michael Kumbera, management assistant for the village, in an email.

“The areas around the river are worse off, but overall the village is in good shape,” Kumbera had said Monday.

Power has been restored to all the traffic signals in Algonquin, including the intersection at Eastgate Drive and East Algonquin Road, he said.
