$2 Million Bond Set for Man Accused in Caputo's Incident

Fabian J. Torres, 24, of Sleepy Hollow has been charged with aggravated arson.

Bond was set at $2 million for a Sleepy Hollow man accused of throwing a Molotov cocktail in the deli section of the Algonquin Caputo's grocery store Sunday.

Fabian J. Torres, 24, of Sleepy Hollow has been charged with aggravated arson after allegedly throwing an incendiary device made out of a bottle filled with flammable liquid, injuring one man.

A Crystal Lake resident who was shopping there at the time chased Torres out of the store and detained him until Algonquin police arrived.

Torres is being held in the McHenry County Jail. He has not posted bail as of 8:45 a.m. Monday.
