McHenry County College will offer a Professional Organizer class beginning Oct. 26 and ending Nov. 3. The class will meet from 6:30 to 9:30 p.m. on Friday evenings and continues at 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Saturday mornings in Room A113 at MCC.

This class is ideal for those who have a knack for organizing, enjoy helping people and want to start a new career as a professional organizer or for those who are seeking ideas to get their own lives organized.

In this 12-hour class, participants will learn what type of people create clutter, how to purge and declutter areas of homes, organize paperwork and offices, help people with moving and downsize their homes, as well as tips to keep kids organized. After learning the basics, participants will be guided through the process of setting up their own business; how to build a website and what to expect on a daily basis of being a professional organizer.
