The People for Parks Foundation Celebrates with Live Music and Food at the LITH Village Hall

"Sound Bites" combines dinner and music for some great family entertainment.

The People for Parks Foundation, Lake in the Hills, Illinois will bring a "Ravinia" style of free entertainment to the Lake in the Hills Village Hall on Saturday, June 25, 2011. This new concert series is titled "Sound Bites" and will feature live music, food and beverages under the evening sky.  In case of inclement weather, the concerts will be held indoors at the Village Hall multi-purpose room.

Starting at 6pm, the People for Parks Foundation will be selling a variety of beverages: Miller, Miller Lite, Blue Moon , Coke, Diet Coke , Sprite and Bottled Water. Concertgoers can purchase tasty dishes from Jersey Mikes, Kosta's and Papa Saverio's, so be sure you bring the whole family to enjoy the "Sound Bites."

In order to purchase any alcohol you must have proper id, then a wristband will be issued for any alcohol consumption.  On Saturday, June 25th the Foundation welcomes Bopology to the main stage at 7pm. Bopology brings a blend of music from the 1950's and 1960's that your family is sure to enjoy.

Two other concerts are scheduled in this "Sound Bites" Series: July 23, 2011, Billy Croft & the 5 Alarm Band will take the stage with music from current and legendary country rock musicians. Then on August 13, 2011, LITH's homegrown band No Left Turn will appear performing hits by Tom Petty, the Stones, and Bad Company .
