District 300 Foundation to Host Annual Golf Outing Fundraiser at the Boulder Ridge Country Club

Please join us for the D300 Foundation Annual Golf Outing at Boulder Ridge Country Club on June 4th and celebrate "Excellence in Education."

CARPENTERSVILLE — Please join us for the D300 Foundation Golf Outing and Silent Auction Fundraiser on Monday, June 4th at the beautiful Boulder Ridge Country Club in Lake in the Hills, as we celebrate “Excellence in Education.”

This is the only annual fundraiser for the D300 Foundation open to the entire community! We invite the public to experience the exquisite private links at Boulder Ridge for an exceptional day of golf.  Don’t golf? You can still be a part of the fun by joining us for dinner and a chance to win some spectacular raffle and auction prizes.

We have numerous signed sports items available, several golf packages and dozens of fun prizes donated by community businesses, so no matter what your interests, we have something for everyone.  We also have a very special donation from Robert Stewart, an alumnus of the Irving Crown High School, now known as Dundee-Crown High School.  Mr. Stewart, a graduate of D300 and a professional glass artist for over 35 years, is known throughout the world for his unique sculptural glass boxes.

Stewart’s one-of-a-kind creations reside in museums and private collections around the world, including four United States Presidents.  Stewart designed and created The White House Box ©, as a donation for the 2012 D300 Foundation Golf Outing Silent Auction.

Robert is looking to give back to the District 300 Schools that helped him realize his artistic potential, he would like to work with students to engage them in the field of art, in all forms and mediums.  We encourage you to view Robert’s website at: www.robertsteartglassboxes.com, to learn more about his artwork.
