Bunco Benefit Planned to Help Raise Money for the Algonquin/Lake in the Hills Food Pantry

Spend an evening with your friends, while supporting the local Food Pantry.

Bunco is more than just a game, it’s an opportunity to socialize… and come out in support of the Algonquin / Lake in the Hills Food Pantry.

Last year the Algonquin / Lake in the Hills Interfaith Food Pantry hosted their first Bloomin’ Bunco fundraiser, which raising money to help hungry families in the community.  The event was a crowd pleaser and raised thousands of dollars which helped fill the shelves at the Pantry with food and personal care items.  The need for these items still exists more than ever.

Last year at this time the Food Pantry was serving 269 families; six months later that number had risen to 347 hungry families and every month the numbers increase.  In March of this year, the Pantry will move to their new and improved facility at 1113 Pyott Road in Lake in the Hills which offers much more space and dozens of shelves that will need to be stocked.
