Pilots Association Blog Taking Off!

Aviation enthusiasts and those that have even the slightest interest will love these updates about the Lake in the Hills Pilots' Association

Hello everyone and thank you for taking the time out of your busy day to read our blog.

I am Dan Watson one of the people who are working to bring the Lake in the Hills Pilot Association back to life. The pilot association ran for many years and ended in the late 90s.

To give some background on myself, I currently am employed as the agency manager for and our office overlooks the runway. On July 23, 2011 I will be getting married. I am very excited to start that next chapter of my life. We have been together for over 3 years now and are in the final steps of planning our life together.

One afternoon during a busy airport day, I started asking Bob more questions about the aircraft and their pilots. It was at that moment we decided it would be great to get people who enjoy aviation, whether they are a pilot or not, to come socialize on a regular basis.

We are in the late stages of getting the association set up and already have our first meeting scheduled for May 26th, 2011 at 6 pm in the Blue Skies Training room. I encourage anyone who has even the slightest interest in aviation to come out for the meeting. We will be working to shape what our future meetings will be like and who everyone would be interested in hearing from.
