The Village of Lake in the Hills holds a Police Commission Meeting at the , 1115 Crystal Lake Road, at 7 p.m. The commission is a three-person committee that oversees the hiring and promotion of officers, testing and screening new candidates and conduct hearings of misconduct when appealed. The meetings are open to the public.
