Lack of Snow Not a Problem at Raging Buffalo Snowboard Park

The Algonquin snowboard ski park is open for the season and the lack of snow is not a problem.

While the area has measured only a few inches of snowfall so far this winter, Raging Buffalo Snowboard Ski Park/Wakeboard School has plenty of the fluffy stuff.

The Algonquin snowboard ski park is open for business with a few new features like the Burton Riglet Park for riders 11 and under, according to Raging Buffalo’s website. It is the first park in the Midwest and teaches children the principles of snowboarding.

The park, at 19N460 Rt. 31, is open daily from 4 to 10 p.m. and 9 a.m. to 10 p.m. on weekends.
