Post-It Art Competition This Week at Cafe Firefly

You can leave your Post-It art creations on the wall at Cafe Firefly through 4 p.m. this Friday.

Do you have a couple Post-Its and a creative streak? 

Then you are in luck as Cafe Firefly in conjunction with Pen & Mouse Design House are hosting a Post-It Art Competition this week.

Those interested in entering can create their drawings and paintings on a Post-It Note and then leave the mini-pieces of artwork on the wall at Cafe Firefly, 301 South Main St. in Algonquin.

The competition started Monday and entries will be accepted through 4 p.m. on Friday, according to a Pen & Mouse press release. 

Those who enter should leave their name and contact information on the back of each Post-It Note, according to the news release.

All ages are invited to participate and there are a maximum of three entries per person. The winner will be announced at 6 p.m. on Friday, Aug. 24 and you must be present to win, according to the news release. 

The winner (who is over the age of 6 years old) will receive a $15 Cafe Firefly gift certificate and free tuition to Pen & Mouse Club House Artist classes. The runner-up will be awarded a $10 gift certificate to Cafe Firefly and free tuition to Pen & Mouse. The third place finisher will get a $5 gift certificate to Cafe Firefly. 

All participants 6 years old and younger will receive a mini-cupcake and hot chocolate.
