Over 95 area businesses packed the gymnasium at in Algonquin Saturday to take part in the 2012 Home and Business Expo.
The expo is put on by the Algonquin-Lake in the Hills Chamber of Commerce and ran from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday.
Jill Cataldo of Huntley, who runs the popular Jill Cataldo Super-Couponing blogand a nationally syndicated newspaper column Super-Couponing Tips, held a morning workshop at the expo. Cardunal Dog Obedience Training of Huntleyshowcased dog obedience techniques during an afternoon demonstration.
