New Yogurt Shop on Randall Opens Friday

Yumz specializes in create-your-own desserts.

After building a customer base in Crystal Lake, the owners of Yumz yogurt shop are set to open a second store in Lake in the Hills.

Owned and operated by John Barnes and Matthew Thelander, the healthy dessert alternative is taking hold in the area, said Barnes.

"It’s a much healthier option," Barnes said of frozen yogurt. "You can eat healthy and still have that indulgence."
