Local Stores Offer Black Friday Deals

Big-box stores aren't the only businesses offering Black Friday deals this holiday season.

Check out some of these local businesses offering shopping opportunities throughout the area.

Barrington

Spend $50 in shoes or boots get $50 in gift certificates from Young Tootsies Children's Shoes in the Ice House Mall. The deal is good through 5:30 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 3. Customers who spend $75 you are also eligible for $100 gift certificate drawing that is good for all stores there.

Learning Express Toys is offering 20 percent off everything through Nov. 28.

Participating Barrington Area Chamber of Commerce businesses are offering $12 for a $25 gift certificate.

Barrington Home Shoppe is offering 20 percent off almost everything in the store from 8 a.m. to noon Black Friday.

Grayslake

Ashley Alwin Hair & Nail Salon in Grayslake is offering a special gift certificate deal. 3 different services for $99 to be used in January & February. The offer will only be sold from 3 to 6 p.m. Black Friday.

McHenry County

, 30 N Williams St, Crystal Lake

The Running Depot will have in-store coupons on apparel. Stop in, browse around, shop for yourself or others. There's a "wish list" box shoppers can use —  fill out a card with "wishes" and it'll be kept on file. The people shopping for you can come in and ask for your card.

The store will be open until 9 p.m. Friday night. Come in, have some cocoa and cookies, grab a coupon, do a little shopping...

The Black Friday sale goes through Sunday, Nov. 27.

Sprint/Nextel has several locations throughout the area and is offering deals for small businesses Saturday, said Marc Schlaiss, a Sprint business representative for Lake in the Hills, Huntley and Algonquin. 

• Sprint is running a small business deal that with any smart phone “port-in” from another carrier you will get $125.00 credit when activating a new smart phone through Sprint. 
• Sprint is featuring the HTC EVO 3D for $99.00 and the Samsung Galaxy Tablet for $249.00 for businesses. No activation fees when set up with a corporate account number along with no upgrade fees when deemed a corporate account. 
• Sprint can also discount rate plans from 10 to 24 percent.
