I hope there won't be meat served at the festival, because Johnny Appleseed was vegetarian. Serving meat at a festival honoring the man would be tantamount to having segregated toilets at a Martin Luther King Jr rally. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fKr4HZ7ukSE and http://www.veganvideo.org

Oh, come on Jim, I thought I read, as a little guy over 61 years ago, all the Johnny Appleseed stories that existed. No where in my old and feeble 70 year old memory do I remember any story concerning what he ate or did not eat.

Oh jeez Jim! Let people enjoy themselves and make their own choices, huh?
