Chamber Hands Out Annual Awards

The Algonquin/Lake in the Hills Chamber of Commerce held its awards banquet Friday night.

The Algonquin/Lake in the Hills Chamber of Commerce handed out awards to area business during its annual banquet on Friday. 

Algonquin Patch and Lake in the Hills Patch received the new business of the year award. Lifeline Christian Church was selected as business of the year and Jarid Brockman of Edward Jones Investments in Algonquin was selected as volunteer of the year.  

Algonquin Patch Editor Savannah Ziegelbauer, Lake in the Hills Patch Editor Amie Schaenzer and Patch.com Ad Sales Manager Vanessa Baker were on hand to accept the award for Patch.com at the awards dinner. Brockman and Pastor Dave Rudin of Lifeline Christian Church were at the dinner to accept their awards.

The theme of the annual awards dinner was a birthday celebration as the chamber has been supporting area business for 60 years.

The awards dinner was held at the Boulder Ridge Country Club, 350 Boulder Drive in Lake in the Hills.
