TCF Bank will be closing 37 locations in Jewel-Osco stores throughout the Chicago area, including the Algonquin branch at 1501 E. Algonquin Road, according to Crain's Chicago Business.
The plan is to close the locations by March and 200 employees will be affected by the closures, according to Crain's Chicago Business.
Other local branches that will be closing include: 4222 Elm St. in McHenry, 696 Northwest Highway in Cary and 145 S. Eastwood Drive in Woodstock A full list of branch closings can be found on the Daily Herald.
The Chicago Tribune reports the majority of locations that are closing have other branches within five miles and 14 of the closing locations have branches within three miles.
