Algonquin Commons to Gain Three New Stores

A shoe store, popcorn store and Sears Outlet are expected to open in the upcoming weeks.

Later this fall, three new stores will join the list of retailers at the . Shoelace Inc., Sears Outlet and Gourmet Kernel will open between mid-September and late October.

“We’re pleased that these retailers have joined the group of 80 amazing tenants,” said Scott Carr, president of property management for Inland Real Estate in a statement. “These stores will be open in time for the holiday season, allowing both the retailers and the shoppers to get the most out of their shopping experience.”

Shoelace Inc., formerly Village Shoes in Crystal Lake, is . Amber Mullins and her husband, Robert Guss, also own in historic downtown Crystal Lake and recently opened a new store in Kildeer. Mullins said she to the and rename it because she wanted more traffic and thought having a store in Algonquin was a good opportunity.
