7-Eleven Gets Liquor License

The Algonquin Village Board voted unanimously to grant the convenience store a license.

Algonquin’s East Side 7-Eleven will be able to sell alcohol at its establishment.

The Village Board voted unanimously to grant the 7-Eleven, 501 E. Algonquin Road, a liquor license at its July 19 meeting.

A representative for the store said all employees would be trained in learning how to properly check customers’ IDs so that alcohol won’t be sold to minors.
