The Huntley Red Raiders varsity boys basketball team defeated Cary-Grove 41-32 on Tuesday night to stay in first place in the Fox Valley Conference Valley Division standings.

For the first 14:30 of the game Tuesday night it looked like Huntley Red Raiders boys basketball team would roll right over the Cary-Grove Trojans.

Huntley jumped out to a 12-0 lead before Cary-Grove scored their first point and finished the first quarter up 20-3.

The Raider defense did not let up in the second quarter as they held the Trojans scoreless until the 1:27 mark in the quarter.
