Perfect in the Valley

Huntley went undefeated in the Valley with a 50-30 road victory over Cary-Grove.

The Huntley boys basketball team completed their play in the Fox Valley Conference Valley Division with a perfect 12-0 record after defeating Cary-Grove, 50-30 on Friday night.  

They improved to 23-2 overall with the victory.

The Red Raiders started strong scoring the first basket of the game and opening with a 9-2 lead before finishing the first period up 11-7. Troy Miller found Bryce Only wide open for an easy layup for the last basket of the first half as Huntley went into the lockerroom up 19-10.

The second half was all Raiders as they took control in the third quarter and went up 32-19. Huntley was led by Senior Justin Frederick who finished with 12 points. Only was also in double figures with 11.
