Huntley Sophomore Boys Defeat Dundee-Crown
The Huntley sophomore boys basketball team defeated Dundee-Crown, 38-30.

With a 38-30 victory at home over Dundee-Crown, the sophomore boys picked up their 5th straight win. The boys are now 14-8 for the season and 7-3 in the Valley Division.
Daniel Janus and Zach Gorney each scored 13 points and grabbed 6 rebounds to lead Huntley.

In a low scoring first half the Red Raiders led 6-4 after the first quarter and 13-8 at halftime. They continued to add to their lead in the third period taking a 22-13 lead into the fourth. The Chargers could get no closer than 8 points as the Raiders avenged an earlier loss at Dundee-Crown.
The Raiders who typically play man-to-man defense went to a 2-3 zone for much of the game and Dundee-Crown really struggled to score against the zone.

Huntley shot 17 for 20 from the free throw line to make up for their 28.6% (10 for 35) field goal shooting.
