Cary-Grove Girls Clinch Valley Division Title with Victory over Huntley

Huntley loses to Cary-Grove as Trojans clinch Valley Division title.

Cary-Grove was not about to let the underdog Red Raiders beat them twice in one season.  With a victory the Trojans would clinch the outright Valley Division title and that is exactly what they did before a home, Senior Night crowd.

Huntley turned the ball over 30 times and the Trojans led the whole game as they won 41-29.

After trailing 10-0 early the Red Raiders made a charge to close within 2 at 14-12 at the half.  Sam Andrews led all scorers with 17 points and she also hauled down 7 rebounds.
