Unlimited Carnival Rides: Wristband Hours for Founders' Days

Want to get more rides for your dollar this year at the 53rd Annual Algonquin Founders' Days?

Parents and kids alike often take advantage of the Unlimited Carnival Rides wristband option offered during select time periods throughout the four-day festival.

At $22 each ($20 during select Sunday hours), the wristbands allow carnival thrill seekers as many rides as they can pack into that specified time frame.

According to the Algonquin Founders' Days website, regular carnival ticket prices for Friday evening, from 5 to 10 p.m., and all day Saturday are: 

1 Coupon for $1.25
22 Coupons for $25 ($1.13 each)
55 Coupons for $60 ($1.09 each)
Carnival rides "cost" between two to four coupons per ride.


Unlimited Ride Wristband Hours for 2013 Algonquin Founders' Days:

Thursday July 25: 6 to 10 p.m.
Friday, July 26, Noon to 5 p.m.
Sunday, July 28, 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. (wristbands only $20 this day)

Algonquin Founders' Days runs from Thursday to Sunday, July 25 to 28.

Organizers have doubled the number of carnival rides this year since the fest is being held at Algonquin Lakes Park behind Algonquin Lakes School, 1401 Compton Dr., Algonquin. The festival, normally held at Towne Park, has been moved this year because of the Western Bypass construction.
