Laughing babies, talking babies, SNL shorts...and "that" song were among the most watched YouTube videos of the past year.

 

So, what were people logging onto YouTube.com to watch in 2011?

Lots of cute videos of babies laughing and babbling for starters, according to YouTube.

Then there were plenty of video clips from NBC's Saturday Night Live like "The Creep" dance featuring Andy Samberg and singer Nicki Minaj, and the "Jack Sparrow" short that included 1980s pop sensation Michael Bolton, the website states.

But, the number one, most-watched video of the year was that song. If you're a parent, you know the one. It's the video your kids kept watching, and all their friends kept watching...and, if they're anywhere near the teenage years - kept laughing at.

Rebecca Black, who one year ago was just an ordinary American teenager and is now an international household name, carries the honor of having the most-watched YouTube video with her performance of "Friday," according to You-Tube.com.
