Raue Center Hires New Director of Institutional Giving

Betsy Liotus is joining the Raue Center for the Arts staff.

The Raue Center for the Arts has expanded its staff.

Betsy Liotus is joining the Raue as director of institutional giving, according to a Raue news release. 

Liotus has worked in nonprofit development for more than 15 years, including five capital campaigns. Her passion is helping organizations strategically position themselves to succeed from the inside out.

Liotus co-founded Catalign Consulting in Madison, Wis.. She has also served as executive director of the Benedictine Life Foundation at Holy Wisdom Monastery, director of development at the University of Wisconsin Foundation and the University of Illinois at Chicago, and as executive director of Fellowship Housing Corporation in Schaumburg, the release states.

Liotus has a B.A. from DePaul University (journalism), a master’s degree in philanthropy and development from St. Mary’s University of Minnesota and a certificate in executive nonprofit management from Georgetown University’s Center for Public & Nonprofit Leadership.

She has taught classes in major gift giving for UW-Extension and served as a panelist or co-panelist on topics related to capital campaigns and planned giving.
