Night of Comedy: Laughing Champion Julie Ostrow at 'The Listening Room'

Julie Ostrow, the "Laughing Champion," is bringing her act to The Listening Room this Friday night at Lakeside Legacy Arts Park/ Dole Mansion in Crystal Lake.

Comedienne Julie Ostrow and her improv friends will present "A Night of Comedy" from 7:30 to 9:30 p.m. Oct. 25 at The Listening Room, a performance room located inside the historic Lakeside Legacy Arts Park at 401 Country Club Rd.

Julie will delight you as she shares her wit and wisdom in her stand-up shows with her “just a little off” perspective on her life experiences. 

"You’ll laugh until your sides hurt," the show preview reads. 

“My goal is to have my audiences laugh so hard they can feel 
their obliques,” Ostrow said. 

Ostrow and her friend will perform improv comedy, as well. She and her comic friends have honed their skills at Chicago-area training centers and have performed in improv shows throughout Chicagoland, according to The Listening Room preview. 

Tickets are $12.
