Algonquin's Art on the Fox

The Village of Algonquin’s 5th annual Art on the Fox will take place from 10:00am to 5:00pm on Saturday, June 30 and Sunday, July 1.  The fine art show is held downtown in beautiful Riverfront Park, along the park’s scenic riverwalk that overlooks the Fox River.  Riverfront Park is located on North Harrison Street, just one block north of Algonquin Road (IL Route 62).  The event is free and open to the public and artists will have artwork for sale in a variety of media, including painting, photography, jewelry, glass, drawing, sculpture, and stone.  Live acoustical music will also be performed by local folk musician Mary Lai in the park’s central plaza on Saturday and Sunday afternoon.  For more information about the event, please visit www.algonquin.org or contact Ben Mason, Village Planner at 847-658-4184.
