Spring Book Sale Held at Algonquin Library

The Friends of the Algonquin Area Public Library will host the sale Thursday through Sunday at the library's Eastgate location.

The Friends of the Algonquin Area Public library will be hosting a spring book sale this Thursday (March 14) through Sunday (March 17) at the library's eastgate location, 115 Eastgate Drive, according to the library's website. 

Books will be available for 25 cents to $1 and there will also be CDs, vinyl records, DVDs, video tapes and books on cassette and CD available for sale, according to the library's website. On Sunday, all items will be half-priced. 

The first night of the book sale, there will be a $10 entry fee and the sale will be open from 4 to 7 p.m. Adults only will be permitted the first night.

There will be no entrance fee to the book sale Friday through Sunday. The hours of operation will be: Friday, 4 to 8 p.m.; Saturday, 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.; Sunday, 1 to 4 p.m. 

The fall festival book sale brought in $7,500 for the Friends of the Algonquin Area Public Library and to help fund educational opportunities at the library, according to the library's website.
