The Easter festivities continue this weekend, with events including a conservation egg hunt, crafting and an Easter family festival.

Where/When: , 115 Eastgate St. in Algonquin, Friday from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m.     

Why go: Kids ages 5 to 14 can compete against each other in Mario Kart on Wii, plus prizes will be awarded to the winners.

Where/When: , 724 W. Northwest Highway in Barrington, Saturday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Why go: This family-centered festival at The Foundry Shops of Barrington features a free petting zoo, free photos with the Easter Bunny, face painting, treats and kids can explore Barrington fire trucks and police department vehicles.  

Pricing: Free.

 



Where/When: Brookdale Paulsen Road Shelter, 18410 US Highway 14 in Woodstock, Saturday from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m.

Why go: Kids will love looking outdoors for the eggs of local birds, plus all participants get a prize.
