Despite high temps, concert-goers still showed up for the performance of Soda, a Chicago area cover band, at the Algonquin Commons Sunday Nights Live.

The audience brought along water and umbrellas for shade and settled in for an evening of music, dancing and fun. 

Last week's performance was by Johnny Russler and the Beach Bum Band, a Caribbean rock, reggae and calypso band.

Small Time Dave & The Windy City Groove will take the stage July 24, a band recognized for being one of the top big brass sounds of the 1960s and ’70s in Chicagoland.
